The AI system will analyze a user’s profile information to determine their suitability for a particular job. It can also provide recommendations on profile changes to make the user more competitive in their desired field.
Tomer Cohen, LinkedIn’s Chief Product Officer, explained the impact of these AI features, stating, “We want to help users go from what used to be just seeing a job and feeling insecure to being able to make tremendous progress in just one session, all the way towards an interaction.” This enhancement aims to empower users and present them with opportunities for personal growth and professional development.
LinkedIn also unveiled a new feature on Wednesday: a button that will summarize lengthy posts into key bullet points tailored to each user. For instance, a sales professional may receive a different takeaway compared to a stockbroker. This feature aims to save time and provide users with concise and relevant information.
