Among the notable members are Jason Schultz, the Director and Professor of NYU Law School, who will serve as one of the three co-chairs, and Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan District Attorney. Governor Kathy Hochul has been at the forefront of these discussions, committing to positioning New York State as a leader in AI research. Her dedication includes a proposal to establish an AI computing center in Upstate New York, emphasizing the importance of fostering cutting-edge AI research.
