The collaboration between the two companies aims to enhance the accessibility and inclusivity of DAZN’s content by delivering live and recorded multi-language and translated captions using AI-Media’s state-of-the-art LEXI Tool Kit.

DAZN, known for its rapid growth and extensive sports streaming offerings, recognizes the importance of making its content accessible to a diverse audience. Through the integration of AI-Media’s LEXI Tool Kit, DAZN will seamlessly incorporate live captions into its premium sports content, enriching the viewing experience for millions of people around the world.

One of the key highlights of this partnership is the use of AI-Media’s cutting-edge technology, LEXI 3.0. This automatic captioning solution introduces innovative features such as speaker identification and AI-powered caption placement, resulting in accuracy exceeding 98%. LEXI’s advanced vocabulary also ensures the quality of sport content captioning by accounting for region-specific nuances, including challenging pronunciations and complex spellings.

DAZN will benefit from AI-Media’s complete end-to-end solution, which includes the use of Alta IP caption Encoder for LEXI Live captioning delivery. Alta offers a virtualized, API-powered software solution tailored for IP video environments, ensuring seamless integration. Additionally, this partnership expands language support, with an initial rollout of Spanish and English captions for EMEA and US markets. Plans are in place to introduce French, German, Italian, Arabic, Japanese, and more languages through LEXI Translate, supporting DAZN’s global expansion strategy across its 120 channels.

Furthermore, DAZN has implemented AI-Media’s LEXI Recorded solution for captioning pre-recorded content on their FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV) Channels. LEXI Recorded, a newly launched addition to the LEXI Tool Kit, offers fast turnaround, highly accurate, and low-cost captions. This cost-effective solution is essential for high volume, time-sensitive captioning applications of recorded content.
