Springdel Secures $5 Million Investment for AI-powered MDM Transformation

Springdel, a leader in mobile device management (MDM), has secured a $5 million investment to drive the transformation of MDM through the use of artificial intelligence (AI). The investment, led by Carbide Ventures and followed by Beyond Ventures, will enable Springdel to focus on AI enablement and declarative device management (DDM), which are causing a paradigm shift in the MDM and unified endpoint management (UEM) space.

CEO of Springdel, Calvin Chung, explains the importance of the investment, stating, “Our platform is purpose-built to support mission-critical device management that can adapt to the rapid change and innovation enterprises are experiencing. We offer a straightforward path to leverage AI in managing your device fleets and supporting frontline workers and mission-critical operations. This investment empowers us to unlock the potential of AI and the growing shift from MDM to DDM to provide faster, more reliable shared device support and updates.”

Dan Weirich, General Partner at Carbide Ventures, also emphasizes the transformative nature of Springdel’s approach, stating, “Springdel’s approach is revolutionizing the value companies can gain from the growing number of digital endpoints. Their commitment to innovation, coupled with a user-centric focus, uniquely positions them for substantial growth. We’re thrilled to support a team that’s not just keeping pace but setting the pace in an industry on the brink of an AI-led transformation.”

Traditional MDM solutions often struggle to meet the unique requirements of mission-critical edge devices. By incorporating AI, Springdel aims to provide a more proactive, adaptive, and intelligent solution to customers, helping reduce downtime, enhance security, and optimize resource utilization.

The $5 million investment will be used to further develop Springdel’s AI-powered advanced capabilities and automation. Key areas of focus include extending predictive maintenance, intelligent alerts and notifications, and cognitive analytics and reporting. This funding will also support Springdel’s go-to-market expansion in core markets and essential partnerships.

Springdel’s AI-ready MDM solutions are set to empower retailers, and those attending NRF'24 in New York are encouraged to reach out to learn more and connect with the Springdel team at the conference.

In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, the integration of AI into device management solutions like Springdel’s is crucial to keep up with the pace of change and ensure efficient and effective management of digital endpoints. Springdel’s innovative approach and focus on user-centric solutions position them well for substantial growth in the AI-led transformation of the MDM and UEM industry.
