During Gates' visit, he also met with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and the two leaders exchanged books. Jaishankar shared a picture on X of the two of them posing with their respective books and wrote, “A good book exchange with @BillGates. And a great conversation.”
Gates arrived in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, before coming to Delhi, where he met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and visited a slum to inquire about the well-being of its residents. Additionally, he is reportedly participating in the pre-wedding events of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Gujarat’s Jamnagar.
