The announcement came during the “Choose France” summit, where the president of the Valérie Pécresse met with Natarajan Chandrasekaran, the president of Tata Sons. This new center of excellence will be based in La Défense and is set to open in June, creating 150 new jobs that will contribute to the growth of the AI ecosystem and skills in France.
This center will be the seventh of its kind in TCS’s global network, known as Pace, joining the ranks of Amsterdam, London, New York, Pittsburgh, Toronto, and Tokyo. The network, which includes startups, universities, and research organizations, has been instrumental in fostering a global ecosystem of innovation and collaboration.
Valérie Pécresse, president of the region, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “This agreement follows numerous exchanges between myself and the Tata group since my visit to India earlier in 2024. It is a testament to our commitment to strengthening ties and leveraging the best global capabilities for French businesses.”
