In a separate announcement, IBM revealed a collaboration with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority. As part of this partnership, the authority will leverage IBM’s Watsonx to train an AI system called “ALLaM” in Arabic language processing. This initiative will add new language capabilities to IBM’s offerings, enabling the system to comprehend various Arabic dialects.

By expanding its Arabic language capabilities, IBM is striving to cater to a broader customer base in the Middle East and facilitate the adoption of AI technologies in the region.
