Securing Critical Infrastructure: DHS Introduces New AI Safety Framework

In a move to ensure the secure and responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) across critical infrastructure sectors, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has launched a comprehensive set of guidelines known as the “Roles and Responsibilities Framework for Artificial Intelligence in Critical Infrastructure.”

The US Secretary of Commerce, Gina Raimondo, commends the new framework, highlighting its potential synergy with the ongoing work of the Department of Commerce to ensure the responsible deployment of AI across critical infrastructure.
